Parcel delivery/handover in Germany is done by a courier, and in Georgia at a post office branch (see the full list on the Contact page)The price of sending a parcel from Germany to Georgia is 3 euros/kg, and from Georgia to Germany is 5 euros/kg
We calculate the weight of the parcel as a minimum of 5 kg, for example. If the parcel weighs 2 kg, then sending it from Germany to Georgia will cost 15 euros, and vice versa, from Georgia to Germany it will cost 25 euros
Customs Clearance Rules for Parcels and Prohibited Items According to Georgian law, a parcel is subject to customs clearance if it meets one of the following conditions: * Value: The value of the parcel exceeds 300 GEL. * Weight: The weight of the parcel exceeds 30 kilograms (kg). * Uniformity: The parcel contains uniform goods. * Additional rules in the case of one flight: Parcels ordered from the same website or sent on a flight: If several parcels ordered by you from the same online store (for example, amazon.com) or personal items arrive on one flight and their total value exceeds 300 GEL, they will be subject to customs clearance. For example: If you ordered packages from Amazon worth 150 GEL and 151 GEL, which were shipped on the same flight, they will be cleared through customs. * Parcels ordered from different websites: If packages ordered from different online stores (for example, amazon.com and ebay.com) arrive on the same flight and their total value exceeds 300 GEL, they will not be subject to customs clearance. For example: If you ordered packages from Amazon worth 151 GEL and eBay worth 150 GEL, which were shipped on the same flight, they will not be subject to customs clearance. * If the weight or value of the packages exceeds the above-mentioned limits, then to avoid customs clearance, if possible divide the packages so that each package's weight does not exceed 30 kilograms and the value does not exceed 300 GEL and send/order to different recipients. The following items are prohibited from being sent by parcel: * Cash: real money, coins or banknotes, bank and credit cards and other securities. * Perishable products: perishable food products. * Hazardous substances: explosive substances. * Living organisms: live animals. * Plant products: soil and seedlings with soil. Plant seeds (more than 25 grams). Plants containing narcotic or psychotropic substances or their seeds. * Prohibited substances: any kind of narcotics, products containing narcotic substances. Psychotropic substances. * Drugs: drugs (more than 10 packages). * Pornography: pornographic products.
